Delivery Policy
1. Overview
J3DB provides custom 3D printing and design services.
All items are made to order and produced after payment, or any required deposit, has been received.
Delivery timelines depend on the scope of the project, design requirements, production time, and courier transit after dispatch.
2. Production Timeline
Order fulfilment generally consists of two stages:
1. Production Time
This includes any design work, file preparation, prototyping, printing, and post-processing required for the order.
2. Delivery Time
This is the estimated courier transit time after the order has been dispatched.
Production begins only after:
-
the quote has been accepted
-
delivery details have been confirmed
-
payment, or any required deposit, has been received
Typical turnaround times are discussed during quoting and may vary depending on project complexity, workload, and production requirements.
3. Shipping & Delivery
Standard delivery is charged at £2.89, with free shipping on orders over £30.
Orders are securely packaged and typically dispatched via InPost drop-off, with final delivery usually completed by Royal Mail or Yodel depending on service availability.
Estimated delivery is typically 4–5 working days after dispatch, based on courier delivery timeframes. Delivery charges, where applicable, will be shown clearly during quoting or invoicing.
4. Dispatch & Tracking
Once an order has been dispatched:
-
a dispatch confirmation may be sent
-
tracking information will be provided where available
Delivery timeframes are based on courier estimates and are outside J3DB’s direct control once the parcel has been handed to the delivery provider.
While every effort is made to dispatch orders promptly and use reliable services, delays may occasionally occur during transit.
5. Lost or Damaged Parcels
If a parcel appears to be lost in transit:
-
please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date
-
we will liaise with the courier to investigate where appropriate
If an item arrives damaged:
-
please contact us within 48 hours of delivery
-
clear photographs of the packaging and item will be required
Any resolution will be handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances.
6. Delivery Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
-
providing accurate delivery details
-
ensuring delivery access where required
J3DB is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, or additional charges caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer.
Responsibility for the item transfers to the customer once delivery has been confirmed by the courier.
7. Collection (If Agreed)
In some circumstances, local collection may be arranged by prior agreement.
Where collection is agreed:
• collection details will be provided directly
• items should be collected within a reasonable timeframe
8. International Shipping
J3DB currently ships primarily within the United Kingdom.
International shipping may be available for selected orders by prior arrangement.
Where international shipping is agreed:
-
additional shipping charges may apply
-
customs duties, taxes, or import fees may be charged by the destination country
Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer.
